Came in from pulling out a Challenger Scat Pack. He said, “that clutch is kind of stiff.”

I took it around the block yesterday. I replied, “really? I didn’t think so.”

Then I looked at my legs. Carrying around my fat ass has left them pretty strong, I guess.

Friend of mine drove the Alfa once. I believe he came out saying something like “You really have to drive that car! Everything in it is work .” Stiff clutch, long throw shifts, manual steering, and a slightly sticky throttle... I think he liked it!

I drove a car with unassisted steering and heavy clutch for a few years a while back. My deltoids and left leg were never stronger. The few days where I wish I had some extra power were few and far in between, but my wife thought the extra muscle was nice...

First stick shift I drove was dad’s 79 Bronco. I had to hold on the bottom of the steering wheel to get the clutch pedal the whole way to the floor.
